As a Test Engineer you are responsible for the whole testing process. A solid base has already been constructed and it's your task to expand this as good as possible. You will be responsible for writing testplans, for defining the strategy and setting up test scripts. For now the main focus of testing is manual testing however within the near future the company wants to implement test automation when possible. You provide an accurate documentation of your findings and discuss them with the owner and your other colleagues. The ideal candidate has a proper background with testing methodologies as TMap / ISTQB and also experience with developing with programming languages as Java or .NET.
- You have a degree in IT
- You have at least 2 years experience as a test engineer
- You have experience with test automation
- Development knowledge is considered a big plus
- You can show commitment, ownership and ambition
- Valid work permit
- Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered a big plus as well
This Dutch start-up is situated in the surrounding of Arnhem and is currently looking for a technical testing engineer. This company was founded several years ago and currently there are 5 employees working for this ambitious organization. The company develops applications which companies worldwide use to optimize their internal data. Despite being a start-up, they already have interesting international clients like Walt Disney and Procter & Gamble.
This year's goal is to expand to a minimum of 8 employees. They are looking for candidates with ownership; people who want to become part of a growing company and feel responsible for these ambitions. For this vacancy, only a good knowledge of the English language is required. Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered a big plus.
Note: for this vacancy a valid work permit is required and the company cannot facilitate skilled migrants. Remote work is not an option either.
Your salary is based upon your knowledge and experience but can go up to 4000 euros gross a month.
