As a QA Engineer you are responsible for the whole quality process. You write your own testplan, you determine the testing strategy and you also execute the tests. A solid testing base is already provided but it is your duty to optimize and extend this. There are enough possibilities for you to discuss matters with your colleagues (both developers and consultants) but in the end you take ownership for your job.
Regarding the technical aspects of the job; the applications are developed in Java. As you are responsible for the complete process, you should have some technical knowledge to write your own scripts. Next to that, the company wants to implement test automation in the future as well so you should be open to work with this aspect as well. You, however, are able to use your own tool set for this.
- At least two years experience as a QA engineer
- Experience with writing test plans
- Experience with testing methodologies
- Experience with Java is considered a plus
- Experience with Test Automation is considered a plus
- Good command of the English language

The company exists of 10 persons and develops software applications for businesses to optimize their internal processes. The company has only been founded a couple of years ago and they are currently growing fast. This year's goal is to grow with 5 more persons and to enroll their platform to many countries abroad.

Salary is based on experience and knowledge but can go upto 4200 euros a month.
