We are looking for a Business Development Manager with Cisco knowledge

The job purpose

To be the face of their chosen field of expertise their resellers. Strategically developing vendors or technologies with business plans, building relationships with the customers and working with extended portfolio to build and position solutions ensuring competitive advantage. Ensuring appropriate expertise is in place to meet requirements and make them the distributor of choice on the vendor and customer side.  

Accountabilities 
  • Maintain and develop both vendor and customer relationships.
  • Position at highest level in vendor management both in the Country and Europe.
  • Support target achievement against business plan.
  • Position the organisation and relevant vendor at highest level with key resellers
  • Increase market share and market ranking.
  • Understand and develop market place.
  • Know the size of the market, market share and value of goods sold through distribution.
  • Analyse trends and project performance by vendor.
  • Analyse, report on and develop conclusions to develop the market.
  • Look for and consider new vendors/brand acquisition to build portfolio.
  • Identify and build relationships with generic and specialised sales teams
  • Be aware of major annual events, e.g. vendor year ends, trade shows.
  • People management and development (where applicable).
  • Develop and deliver against an approved quarterly business plan.
  • Maintain strong relationships with relevant contacts at the vendor
  • Maintain a full understanding of the strategy
  • Generate new ideas to execute the strategy within given are
