Information Management Lead

The Role
This is a role for a confident leader with industry experience of managing information and digitalisation. An exciting chance to lead on new ways of working, helping to drive change and innovation in a global company.

What’s the role?
As Information Manager (IM) Lead, you’ll be working in the fast moving, rapidly changing and dynamic environment of capital projects, within our Project & Technology business. Where your primary focus will be to shape and deliver information management and digitalisation activities and deliverables.

This is a refreshingly diverse role with responsibilities that range widely, from defining and delivering the digitalisation and IM strategy for each project, to manging all IM activities for capital projects. You can see how no one day will be the same.

Your visible leadership will be vital to the job, as you seek ways to continually improve information and data integrity, as well as direct information management practice. Plus, your excellent communication skills will see you nurturing collaboration with a range of stakeholders, influencing and challenging decision-makers in a positive manner.

More specific duties will include:

  • Coordinating IM activity across a number of capital projects.
  • Driving initiatives in the projects to achieve data centric ways of working, and reduce data creation and maintenance costs.
  • Demonstrating compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Applying project management techniques to plan and monitor, and report on delivery.

What we need from you
We’re keen to speak to men and women with hands-on industry experience in driving change and innovation, along with proven project and contract management skills.

We expect you’ll be the kind of person who thrives on taking on new challenges and learning new skills. Beyond that, we’d hope to see as many of the following on your CV:

  • Proven experience in taking ownership to shape and deliver the defined responsibilities.
  • An ability to manage delivery by a team, often virtually.
  • Proven skills in information management, with an understanding of processes and solutions related to capital projects and asset operations.
  • A demonstrable personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE).
